Can someone recommand a rental car company in Ukraine?

I plan to go to Ukraine in August. Is there a rental car company recommanded? A friend of mine used SIXT rental car Ukraine but found a bad service in Kiev and cars that not safe.

In Ukraine you have different options. I frequently travel to Ukraine for business. Stay away from SIXT, the cars I used always had problems. The staff is not very qualified and always want to make you belief that you as client are wrong. If something with the car is wrong, I expect an apologize and assistance without any questions asked. SIXT rental car is just another Ukrainian company with terrible quality and very awful service. You may check companies like Herz rental cars or Avis or the service of Budget. You can find offices at airport in Kiev and downtown Kiev.

The other question is depending on how much driving you are planning to do and if it is just to get from one city to another you may want to consider another method of travel. The roads are terrible and you will find the police stopping you every chance they get as they will be looking for anything on you and looking for a bribe.

AS to answer your question you will find that all rental car agencies are pretty much the same.....just bad. Be sure to check the car very well and even take it for a test drive before, being super critical of absolutely everything as they will try to get you to pay for any damages as you are a foreigner. 

If you are going to Nikolaev I know someone there who I would consider honest and reliable, with a smaller company. So unless you can be more specific on your location, your best bet would search the internet and pay attention to the age of the car you are booking.
