Can a car rental company hold you liable for damages without verifiable proof?
Budget Rental Car Company contacted me last week accusing me of returning a damaged car over 100 days ago. I know for sure I did not damage the vehicle and even now when they are asking for over $2,500, they have not even told me what damage they are accusing me of. I feel harassed, what should I do?

- yes, if you sign any documentations before the rental, it should of stated that you would be reliable for any damage, howver if its been a week or 2 since you returned and they are now sayign you damaged the car then no
- thats why i ALWAYS file my copy of the rental agreement in a folder at home. i signed it and they signed it when i took it and returned it. making it a legal document of condition and 100 days? christ knows how many people have had it since. tell them to screw
